How it works
To pay with ShopBack Pay, simply link your credit/debit card or e-wallet in the app. When you're at the store, ask to pay with ShopBack and scan the merchant’s ShopBack QR code to complete payment.
How to find ShopBack Pay stores
- Open the ShopBack app and tap “Nearby”.
- Search by brand or category, or use the Map view to see all nearby stores.
- Use the “ShopBack Pay” filter to view only stores that support ShopBack Pay.
Using Scan & Pay
- Before you pay, make sure your payment method is linked. For more help, see Manage payment methods.
- Tap “Pay” or “Scan & Pay” to open your camera.
- Scan the ShopBack QR code provided by the merchant to complete payment.
- That’s it — simple and instant!
Paying with linked cards / Octopus / AlipayHK
Some stores support direct payment using your linked credit/debit card, Octopus, or AlipayHK.
We’ve partnered with Visa and Mastercard, so when you pay in-store using a linked card, they’ll notify us to track your Cashback automatically. It’s seamless!
- Link your card to your ShopBack account.
- Pay as usual using your card at the store.
- Earn Cashback when you return and shop again at the same store.
Return Cashback system
After your first visit, your Cashback will appear as “Pending”. It will only be confirmed once you return to the same store and complete a second transaction within the required timeframe. This system rewards true loyalty and encourages you to revisit your favourite stores!
